Kari Patta Chai

You might have tried my Kari Patta Chai recipe from my latest book, The Book of Chai - tea boiled with curry leaves. But I've just tried a delicious curry leaf smoothie at Tulah wellness clinic in Kerala - and it's absolutely incredible - possibly my new addiction. And it is so simple to make. Simply whizz together in a high-speed blender:

Ingredients:
1/2 glass coconut milk
1/2 glass coconut water
handful 8-10 curry leaves
1 tablespoon honey
small piece ginger, optional 

Curry leaves are a powerhouse of nutrients packed with vitamins and antioxidants. They support digestion, help balance blood sugar and are great for hair health —nourishing the scalp and strengthening roots.
